Chewing On Broken Glass

In 1994, I released a recording called “Chewing On Broken Glass”.    I was opening for Adrian Legg at a club in Knoxville and after the performance, Rick Wolfe (a Knoxville musician) said to me "We have to get that stuff recorded". Rick had access to a studio in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee and 3 months later came the release.
The recording is made up of all live takes and mostly first takes.

Everybody's Lonely

On my next release you will find me doing my thing (acoustic guitar and vocal) and Randy Gilkey playing keys.
Randy is a solo performer, but he sounds like a full band.
I met Randy in West Virginia at a bar that we both performed in. If you see his name in lights, stop what your doing and go see the show. I promise you a great time.
The angelic voice on "The Frontline" is Ginger Fawcett from the band LIQUIDGINGER. Great things are happening for her in 2004. She is a wonderful person and deserves all the best.

The Paddy Wagon

The most recent CD started in Knoxville, continued in Nashville, on to West Virginia and ended three years later in North Carolina. The title track of the CD features a harmonica solo played by Simon Bruce; a true talent from Australia. Jerry Craft recorded and engineered the song "The Paddy Wagon".
The seventh track, "New Mexico" features the one, the only Texas slide guitar man, Joe King in a song about Joe trying to get back home. The banjo is played by the infamous Wade  Hill and harmonica by  Allen "Harpo" Stocks. Recorded and engineered by Sandy Garrett, who just happens to be singing some very powerful backing vocals in the mix.
The rest of the songs are  100 percent Benito Skynalini...me.
